The Indore Hyderabad Economic Corridor, also known as the Indore-Hyderabad Expressway, stretches across a distance of 687 kilometers. This road project, currently under construction by NHAI, is a 4-lane semi access-controlled highway that passes through the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana.

As part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase I program, the construction of this brownfield corridor is well underway, with the primary objective of enhancing the efficiency of freight movement and fostering exports.

The project comprises a series of separate 4-lane highway upgrades that are interconnected to form the economic corridor. According to the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), as of April 2022, 242 kilometers of the route had been completed, while 377 kilometers were still under implementation.

Although NHAI has not yet made the Detailed Project Report (DPR) available online, the Indore-Hyderabad Economic Corridor is scheduled to be completed by 2025.
