In a bid to enhance the efficiency of freight movement across India, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, has embarked on a monumental initiative. Under the aegis of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been entrusted with the task of improving road networks within the state of Chhattisgarh. This ambitious Project of Patthalgaon-Kunkuri Greenfield highway aims to bolster connectivity, reduce travel time, and boost economic development. M/s. SA Infrastructure has been appointed as the consultant to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of Economic Corridors, Inter Corridors, and Feeder Routes under this esteemed project.

This segment of the project starts from the village of Turua Ama, near Pathalgaon, and culminates at the CG-JH Border, adjacent to the Shankh river in the Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. The proposed alignment stretches approximately 100 km, with the primary objective of reducing travel distance and time across the state. This alignment has been strategically planned to maximize simultaneous development while also resulting in a shorter travel distance. To ensure seamless traffic flow, interchanges and flyovers are planned at junctions with existing roads, promising uninterrupted connectivity.
