Project Brief of Ludhiana Rupnagar Expressway
The NHAI-approved 91 km Ludhiana Rupnagar Expressway (NH-205K) is a 4-6 lane, access-controlled expressway with a route alignment linking Bheora village near Rupnagar (Ropar) in Punjab with Manewal village on the Delhi-Amritsar Expressway.
This greenfield highway, which is being built as part of Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase 1, also has a 19.5 km spur to Kharar. SA Infrastructure created the project’s DPR (Detailed Project Report) and pre-feasibility report.

Route Map & Alignment of Ludhiana Rupnagar Expressway
Three districts in Punjab—Ludhiana, Rupnagar, and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar—will be connected by the Ludhiana-Rupnagar-Kharar Expressway project (SAS Nagar). It will begin on the Delhi-Katra Expressway (NE-5) close to the village of Manewal and end at Rupnagar close to the village of Bheora on NH-205. A spur will also be constructed to link the villages of Pippal Majra and Kharar.

Ludhiana Rupnagar Kharar Expressway project has been divided into 3 civil construction packages with a 24 month completion deadline.
