The NHAI-approved, 6 lane, access-controlled Ludhiana Bathinda Expressway (NH-754AD) covers 75.4 km and connects Rampura Phul on the Amritsar-Bhatinda Expressway with Ballowal village on the Delhi-Amritsar Expressway.
This greenfield highway is being built as part of Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase 1 and is a part of the Ludhiana-Ajmer Economic Corridor (EC-8). In October 2020, land acquisition for its construction began.
URS Scott Wilson India Pvt. Ltd. created the project’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) in 2019.

36 villages in three districts of Ludhiana (tehsils Ludhiana, Rajkot), Barnala (tehsils Barnala, Tapa), and Bathinda are traversed by the Ludhiana-Bathinda Expressway project (tehsil Rampura Phul).
