The Nagpur Gondia Expressway, also known as the Eastern Maharashtra Expressway, is a proposed 4-lane access-controlled highway in eastern Maharashtra, India. This project by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (MSRDC) aims to connect Nagpur with Gondia, improving transportation and connectivity in the region.

Benefits and Connectivity
The Nagpur – Gondia Expressway will serve as an extension of the under-construction 701 km Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai – Nagpur Expressway), enhancing connectivity between Nagpur and Gondia. It is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the two cities, reducing the journey duration from the current 4-5 hours to about 2 hours.

An official PDF route map for the Nagpur – Gondia Expressway project will be made available in the future. Currently, the project is in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation stage. The DPR has not yet been finalized, and land acquisition has not commenced.
