Master Plan and Line Blueprint

With meticulous planning, Indore Metro’s master plan envisions an impressive network spanning 94 kilometers of routes. This visionary blueprint comprises four metro lines and two spurs, intricately woven into the city’s fabric. The masterplan of Indore metro project was prepared by Rohit Associates Cities & Rails Pvt.Ltd. Out of the proposed 4 metro routes & 2 spurs criss-crossing the Indore city, 1 line (Yellow Line / Line-3 – a ring line) has been selected for the implementation in Phase 1.

Phase 1 Implementation

Phase 1 of Indore Metro’s implementation focuses on the Yellow Line, also known as Line-3, which takes the form of a ring line. This 33.53-kilometer route received the nod of approval from the state government in December 2016 and gained further endorsement from the Central Government’s cabinet in October 2018.
